The ISSA brings together 339 social security institutions from 165 countries, supporting them in delivering excellence in social security through:

• Events and capacity building
• Professional and regional communities

Based on the input of the ISSA’s global membership through the member survey and the ISSA analysis activities, the ISSA has identified the following topical priorities for the triennium 2026-2028. These priorities will guide the technical and regional activities:

• Social security coverage for a changing labour market
• Social security for changing life-courses and ageing societies
• Social security financing and sustainability
