Working together to strengthen social security

The commitment of the social security institutions in Europe to collaboration, international exchange and learning is reflected in their exceptional engagement in the ISSA.

The knowledge and experiences shared at the regional events, webinars and activities have supported the ISSA’s European members in strengthening collaboration, anticipating, and responding to key challenges, and becoming more resilient.

The ISSA regional community in numbers:

• The ISSA has 100 member institutions from 44 countries in Europe.
• Four regional structures are active across Europe.
• European members have achieved seven ISSA Recognition certificates
• ISSA has key partnerships with regional organizations, including the European Union, the International Organisation of La Francophonie, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development and many others.
• Over 4,800 representatives of members institutions from all corners of the region have contributed to, and participated in, ISSA webinars and other online events throughout 2022 and 2024.
